The QEII Centre is a purpose-built conference, exhibition and events venue on Broad Sanctuary, opposite Westminster Abbey, open since 1986. It has 32 rooms across seven floors, from boardrooms for small groups to large spaces such as the Churchill, a 720 sqm ground-floor room with a raked floor and built-in stage, and the self-contained third floor with double-height windows. Whole-centre capacity is up to 2,500 and the biggest room holding 1,300 Rooms can be combined or reconfigured for conferences, AGMs, award ceremonies, dinners, receptions, exhibitions, fashion shows and filming. Catering is prepared in-house, AV is handled by the centre's own team, and free wired and wireless internet is provided. All meeting rooms have step-free access and nine passenger lifts serve the building.
