The Playhouse

The Playhouse is a converted theatre featuring a welcoming courtyard entrance that opens into a bright, flexible main space. Inside, you will find comfortable lounge style furnishings along with several breakout rooms. The venue is designed to be fully accessible for guests with disabilities. This versatile setting can accommodate a wide variety of activities, such as: • Corporate away days and team sessions • Networking, presentations, and launch events • Filming, photography, and creative productions • Rehearsals, art displays, and exhibitions • Wellness classes, including yoga • Guest speakers, lectures, and panel discussions • Podcast and audio recordings Both indoor and outdoor areas are available, and the layout can be reconfigured to suit your event, whether you require cabaret style seating, theatre rows, a U shaped setup, or a boardroom arrangement. Extra furniture can be hired on request. The venue also offers a range of equipment for hire, including a sixty five inch and fifty five inch screen, flipcharts, and a whiteboard. Onsite catering and refreshments can be arranged. Please contact us for further information. Half day bookings run from eight in the morning until one in the afternoon, or for any five hour period beginning after one thirty. Longer bookings are treated as full day hire. A minimum advance booking of five hours is required. Early access before eight, late access up to eleven at night, and weekend use can be arranged at additional cost. For low impact filming, photography, or small scale events, an hourly rate may sometimes be available. Feel free to enquire for details.
